Photographic project on the impact of irregular practices in adoption

In a context of growing awareness-raising and recognition of irregular practices in adoption over the 1970s and 1980s in Chile, TransformAdopción and the organisation Hijos y Madres del Silencio have recently shared a photographic project to offer visibility to these situations and their impact to date. It also intends to offer support to those individuals, who have been affected by these violations of their right to identity and origins and who are still searching for their children, parents or relatives. This is a moving project, which contributes to these persons’ processes of family and identity search.
