The right to identity from litigation to notification of all interested parties
The Federal National Administrative Court No. 10 of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires has notified all interested parties, via the country’s official review, that, following its sentence and a collective action, it has declared the unconstitutionality of one of the country’s laws as well as that the Executive must implement a plan for the victims of replacement of identity to be able to find their biological identity, as well as anyone who has suffered an infringement to the latter due to human trafficking. This is aimed at all individuals, who have been the victims of identity replacement, who are searching for their biological identity and/or their relatives interested in the search and anyone, who has been the victim of trafficking. Thus, this sentence and its notification recognise the basic right to identity and represents a step forward in reestablishing this identity when there are missing elements.
